The Work

Eighty-one years of it. Here’s some.

Commercial elevations, fireplaces, outdoor rooms, chimneys and detail work from across Arkansas — most of it for people who found us because somebody else recommended us.

Career Jobs

Two that say the most.

Harrison, AR · Commercial

A $3M church. 80,000 brick.

Our largest project to date — roughly eighty thousand brick laid on a single building. A job of that size is won on sequencing and crew management long before it is won on masonry.

Restoration · Historic

A 130-year-old church, brought back.

Matching mortar colour and joint profile, replacing brick that had spalled through, repointing by hand where a grinder would have wrecked the arris. Restoration is a different trade to construction.

Recent Work

Brick, block and stone across Arkansas.

Timber Truss & Brick Gable
Residential · Brick & Stone

Timber Truss & Brick Gable

A full brick elevation carried up into a timber-truss gable, with a natural stone base course and a brick chimney column running the full height. The kind of elevation where every course has to land right at the roofline.

Commercial Brick & Cast Stone
Commercial · Retail

Commercial Brick & Cast Stone

Red brick with cast stone banding, quoins and column caps on a commercial build — plus the brick paver plaza in front of it. Detail work at the corners is what separates this from a plain box.

Outdoor Fireplace & Kitchen
Residential · Outdoor Living

Outdoor Fireplace & Kitchen

A full outdoor room built as one piece of stonework — fireplace, chimney, seat walls, an outdoor kitchen run with stone bar, and the concrete patio tying it together.

Floor-to-Ceiling Fireplace
Residential · Fireplaces

Floor-to-Ceiling Fireplace

A mortar-washed brick fireplace taken floor to ceiling with a full-width raised hearth, set against a double-height wall. Proportioned to the room rather than the firebox.

Stone Chimney
Residential · Chimneys

Stone Chimney

A full natural stone chimney with a shed-water crown and proper counter-flashing into the roof — the two details that decide whether a chimney lasts.

Decorative Brick Panel
Detail · Craft

Decorative Brick Panel

A basketweave brick panel set into a running-bond field, framed with soldier courses. No structural reason for it to exist. It is there because someone knew how to lay it.
